Allie's school accomplishments....

Just wanted to share with everyone how wonderful our Allison is doing with third grade this year. For those of you who have kept in close contact over the last couple of years, you probably already know but just to keep you in the loop.....she has always had a struggle with school work and was diagnosed with a learning disability. We have done alot of work with her (whew....I mean ALOT of work since kindergarten!!!) as well as a ton of praying! : ) We have just past the 1/2 way mark for her first 9 weeks and we are so pleased with her hard work and commitment. Of course, we are also giving God the glory for His work in her life. He is so good and so so faithful! And, we just were so proud of her that we had to share! : )

Lauren working on her "crafts".....

Lauren is taking after her big sister and becoming an avid "artist"....she spends hours sitting at the kitchen table cutting, glueing and painting just about anything and everything. Once she is done, her project usually weighs quite a bit from the mounds of glue that she has added but we still hang it prominently on our "art display"! She is so proud of her work....who knows....maybe one day she will make some big bucks off of all of this preparation! : ) Of course, then she will have to give her Mama some commissions from her fortunes since I helped her start her talent! (haha) On another note regarding Lauren, we went for her 4 year checkup today (she turned 4 back in August but just now getting to that!) and she is doing great. A bit on the small side but hey, that's just part of being a Massey girl! We did find out that her scar on her cheek from her fall back in July will probably be there for the rest of her life. But, there could be worse things and besides....it should give her something to show off for awhile! : ) She's our wild child so I'm sure there will be many more to come....

Katelyn is moving! : )

Well, she's moving with some "help"! Thank goodness she's not crawling yet (Mommy is not ready for that yet!) but she is really enjoying her walker and is non-stop moving all around the kitchen! She is actually quite dangerous with it and when she's coming, we pretty much have to move out of the way and clear the room! : ) And, not only is she moving, she's going over to the kitchen cabinets that happen to be in reaching distance from her and trying to open up the drawers.....uh oh....she's starting getting into things...look out! Here's a pic of her giving me that innocent look before she was trying to open up one of the cabinets....giving me those puppy dog eyes is killing me! : ) And, one of her is kind of blurry because she is on the move...surprise, surprise! Lastly, I've put a pic on here of her enjoying one of her favorite past-times now....chewing on her paci.....she has a bit of a cold (going around already!) so she's not her usual smiley self but she still has her Mama wrapped around her finger!

Lauren and her school.....

Well, Lauren is enjoying another year at her "school" and she is as always making us laugh with her sweet and funny personality! : ) She wants to "dress up" for her class and seems to think a necklace and her "fancy" bracelet will make any outfit totally complete! She cracks me up.... here are a few pics but I wish I could have gotten a picture of just her shoes with this outift....she chose to wear her leopard print ballet type shoes. They didn't exactly go with the Dora ensemble but she is very independent and is wanting to pick out her clothes for school so Mommy is trying to be a bit more "uncontrolling" for this.....and realizing to choose my battles! You have to notice too that although Lauren likes to dress up and wear pretty skirts, she's still our "tomboy" and can't quite get how to stand like a lady in a skirt! : )

Katelyn loves food! : )

Katelyn Grace has now moved on to all kinds of baby food and of course, loves it! : ) She especially likes sweet potatoes, as seen in the recent pictures. Now that she has just hit the 7 month mark, she wants to try and grab the spoon from Mommy so naturally, the food ends up all over her face. And, she thinks that's really funny! : ) Always makes for some great pics....notice that big sister Lauren has to also get in the picture....she loves to ham it up for the camera.....enjoy!
