We had a great Christmas and wanted to share a few pics with everyone from it. We spent the Sat. night before Christmas w/ Shell's extended family, enjoying pizza and goodies at our house. Then, on Christmas Eve, we took our annual trip to the Childrens' Museum during the day w/ some friends to visit with Santa and have a few trips down the giant slide! That night, we headed to Shell's parents' house for a celebration w/ her immediate family. Then, Christmas morning, we enjoyed just our own family's fun of opening presents and eating Christmas breakfast together before heading down to Louisville to celebrate the day w/ Jason's side of the family. We stayed at Nana & Papa's until last night, when we finally headed back home to unload the many many presents that the girls enjoyed digging thru most of today! We all received so many neat new things...Allie's favorites would be her giant doll house (hand built by Papa Don!) and her Barbie MP3 player, Lauren's favorites would be her new baby with own little blanket and baby stroller! Whew....so much fun packed into just a few short days! But we wouldn't trade all of the excitement (aka..."chaos"!) for anything!

Winter Fun!
We spent the weekend doing all kinds of winter fun activities. With the nice snow that we recently got, we were able to play out in it as well as come in when we got cold to make our annual Massey Gingerbread house. Allison is getting really good at making these now! Of course, all Lauren wanted to do was eat all of the candy going on it and then eat the actual house once it got put together! : ) The girls put together their wish list and letters to Santa -- Allison had to stop after toy #19! We are all getting ready for the holidays and hope you are all enjoying this special time of the year as well!

Massey Thanksgiving 2007!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We survived another wonderful time of hosting Shelly's family at Thanksgiving this year. A fun time was had by all w/ eating lots of turkey, pigging out on pumpkin pie and of course, appeasing Allie w/ everyone participating in her annual "craft"! This year, she (w/ Mommy's help!) made a "thankful tree" which every family member had to create a "blessing" leaf for to show what they were thankful for and then hang it on a branch of the tree. By the end of the day, her tree was full! Very nice! : ) Here's the family pic from our day.....notice that Lauren is her "typical" self in this one! Hope everyone enjoyed their family time together as much as we did!
